Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA)
Position Overview
Neuro Rehab Collaborative is seeking a dedicated and experienced Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to support clients with neurologic conditions. The ideal candidate will be passionate about improving daily function and delivering client-centered care in both home and clinic settings.
Key Responsibilities
Assist occupational therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans.
Provide therapeutic interventions to improve independence in daily activities.
Document treatment sessions and client progress accurately and in a timely manner.
Communicate effectively with the supervising OT and other team members.
Modify treatment approaches based on client needs and environmental context.
Educate clients and caregivers on therapeutic activities to support ongoing progress.
Ensure the treatment environment is safe, clean, and well-organized.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
Licensed or certified Occupational Therapy Assistant in Virginia.
Experience working with neurologic populations (e.g., stroke, TBI, Parkinson’s disease, MS).
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage a flexible caseload.
